If you have a surgeon list that you want to use in Case, then you can enter it into a surgeon CSV file, and then import the CSV file into your surgeon table in the admin, settings area.

Case provides a template file that you can use as a guide to create your own surgeon list to import into your Case platform that can be accessed here or downloaded at the bottom of this article.

NOTE: Column headers and dummy data in the template are for reference only and should all be removed prior to uploading.

Steps:

  1. Login as an admin, and go to Settings.

  2. Click on Surgeons.

  3. Click the Upload button, and then select or drop your surgeon CSV file.

  4. Click Upload to begin the bulk upload and wait for the process to complete.

Description of the surgeon CSV file

Review the following considerations for the surgeon CSV file:

The upload feature does not support column headers. You can use the surgeon CSV template to help you to create your CSV file, but please remove column headers and dummy data.

All columns are required and must be present, the values cannot be blank. If data is missing, then you receive an error when you import your CSV file.

Every surgeon must have a defined Title, First Name, Last Name

The title value must be one of the following system defined titles -

Dr, Mr, Ms, Mrs, Prof., Assc Prof.

All uploaded data is case sensitive. The capitalization on the CSV file will match how the data appears throughout the platform!

Column

Description

Title

Use one of the following titles - Dr, Mr, Ms, Mrs, Prof., Assc Prof.

First Name

The first name of the surgeon

Last Name

The last name of the surgeon

When you import surgeon data, your CSV file must be in UTF-8 format. Most spreadsheet applications can save CSV files in UTF-8 format (Comma Delimited) (*.CSV) with the Save As or Export command, depending on the program.
