Users with admin permissions can access and edit the surgeon list in the surgeon panel, to create relevant surgeon data that can be used in other areas of the case platform.
This surgeon panel can be found by access the admin panel via the settings button on the top right of any page.
If you don’t see this settings button you don’t have admin permissions. Please contact an admin for support!
From the admin menu simply select surgeons to access the dedicated surgeons page.
Instructions
The main surgeon page shows a table of all existing surgeons. To add a new surgeon please click on the Add Surgeon button highlighted below to launch the modal.
First - Provide a first name for the surgeon.
Last - Provide a last/surname for the surgeon.
Title - Select an appropriate title from the drop down (Dr, Mr, Mrs etc).
Input initial surgeon information and then you can add additional data once it has been created.
Once created, select the new surgeon from the table and click on the Edit Procedures input to assign specific procedures to this surgeon.
Procedures are selected from a list of existing procedures as defined in the procedures admin panel.
Use the search box to search for specific (existing) procedures if required. Once found select each procedure you wish to assign to the new surgeon by checking the box next to the procedure name.
Click Submit to close the modal and then Save Changes to save the selected procedures to the surgeon.
Don’t forget to save changes before exiting the surgeon page otherwise all changes will be lost!
Select the new surgeon from the table and click on the Edit Hospitals input to assign specific hospitals to this surgeon.
Hospitals are selected from a list of existing hospitals as defined in the hospitals admin panel.
Use the search box to search for specific (existing) hospital if required. Once found select each hospital you wish to assign to the new surgeon by checking the box next to the hospital name.
Click Submit to close the modal and then Save Changes to save the selected procedures to the surgeon.
Don’t forget to save changes before exiting the surgeon page otherwise all changes will be lost!
Surgeons require at least one procedure and one hospital to be assigned to them in order to create a case for them. The surgeon selected during case creation defines the procedures and hospitals you will be able to select!
